Terms of Service for Customers
Who this applies to: Anyone who visits a storefront created using
Afno Site, browses products, or places an order through any Afno
Site-powered shop.
1. What Afno Site Is
Afno Site is an independently operated software platform that allows
individuals and businesses (“Sellers”) to create and operate their
own online storefronts.
When you place an order through an Afno Site-powered storefront, you
are entering into a transaction directly with the Seller who owns
that storefront — not with Afno Site.
Afno Site is a technology service provider only. We provide the
infrastructure and tools Sellers use to operate their shops. Afno
Site is not a retailer, marketplace operator, payment processor,
delivery provider, or intermediary in any transaction between
Customers and Sellers.
2. Your Relationship Is With the Seller
When you place an order through an Afno Site storefront:
- You are purchasing directly from the Seller.

The Seller is solely responsible for their products, prices,
product descriptions, delivery process, payment handling, refunds,
and customer communication.

Any questions or disputes regarding an order must be directed to
the Seller directly.

Seller contact information is displayed on their storefront.

Afno Site does not participate in transactions between Customers
and Sellers.
3. Payments and QR Codes
Some storefronts may display payment QR codes uploaded by Sellers.
These QR codes belong solely to the Seller.
Payments made using these QR codes are transferred directly between
the Customer and Seller. Afno Site does not receive, hold, process,
verify, guarantee, or facilitate these payments in any way.
Customers may optionally upload payment screenshots to Sellers for
reference or communication purposes. Payment screenshots uploaded by
Customers are provided solely for communication between the Customer
and Seller. Afno Site does not verify, confirm, process, or
guarantee any payment.
The Seller alone is responsible for:
- Confirming whether payment was received.
- Verifying payment authenticity.
- Processing or fulfilling orders.
- Handling refunds or payment disputes.
4. Verified Businesses and Casual Sellers
Some storefronts on Afno Site display verification indicators.
Verified Businesses: Verified Businesses are Sellers that have submitted government-issued
identification documents, PAN/VAT details, or business registration documents
that Afno Site has reviewed. Verification confirms identity or business
legitimacy only.
Casual Sellers: Some
Sellers may operate as informal or individual sellers without formal
business verification. These Sellers may be identified as Casual Sellers
on their storefront. Customers should exercise additional caution when
transacting with Casual Sellers.
Important Clarification
Verification does not mean:
- Afno Site guarantees product quality.
- Afno Site guarantees order delivery.
- Afno Site endorses the Seller.
- Afno Site guarantees Seller reliability.
- Afno Site guarantees refunds or dispute resolution.
Customers remain responsible for exercising their own judgment
before transacting with any Seller, including Verified Sellers.
5. Afno Site’s Limited Role
Afno Site provides software tools and storefront infrastructure
only. Afno Site does not:
- Inspect or approve products.
- Guarantee product authenticity.
- Verify every product listing.
- Mediate disputes between Customers and Sellers.
- Process or hold payments.
- Guarantee deliveries.
- Act as an agent or representative of Sellers.
- Provide buyer protection or transaction guarantees.
If you experience technical problems with the Afno Site platform
itself, you may contact us at contact@afnosite.com.
For any issue relating to a Seller, product, payment, or order, you
must contact the Seller directly.
6. Fraudulent Activity
If you believe a Seller has engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, or
harmful conduct, you may report the matter to contact@afnosite.com.
Afno Site may investigate reports of fraud, abuse, illegal activity,
or policy violations and may take action including content removal,
account suspension, or permanent termination. However:
- Afno Site does not mediate disputes.
- Afno Site does not guarantee recovery of funds.

Afno Site is not liable for losses caused by Seller conduct.
- Your legal recourse remains against the Seller directly.
7. Your Responsibilities as a Customer
By using an Afno Site-powered storefront, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when placing orders.
- Use the platform lawfully and in good faith.
- Not attempt to deceive, abuse, or defraud Sellers.
- Not use the platform for illegal activity.
- Exercise reasonable caution before making purchases.
8. Restricted and Prohibited Products
Certain products may not be sold through Afno Site storefronts.
Prohibited products include:
- Illegal goods.
- Counterfeit or stolen goods.
- Prescription medicines or illegal drugs.
- Weapons or explosives.
- Financial scams or deceptive investment schemes.
- Cryptocurrency fraud schemes.
- Copyright-infringing replicas or pirated products.
- Illegal sexual services.
- Exploitative or unlawful adult content.
- Any product prohibited under applicable law.
Certain legal adult products may be sold where permitted by law.
Access to age-restricted content or products may require users to
confirm that they are at least 18 years old.
Afno Site reserves the right to remove any listing, storefront, or
content that may violate law, platform policy, or create risk to
users or the platform.
9. Intellectual Property Complaints
Afno Site respects intellectual property rights.
If you believe that content on Afno Site infringes your intellectual
property rights, you may contact contact@afnosite.com with sufficient details of the alleged infringement.
Afno Site reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content,
suspend related storefronts, or terminate Seller accounts at its
sole discretion.
Repeat or intentional intellectual property violations may result in
permanent account termination.
10. Platform Availability
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Afno Site does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, or
error-free operation.
We may perform maintenance, updates, modifications, or temporary
service interruptions at any time.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Afno Site is not
liable for:
- Any transaction between Customers and Sellers.
- Losses arising from non-delivery or delayed delivery.
- Product quality or safety.
- Fraudulent conduct by Sellers.
- Payment disputes.
- Indirect or consequential damages.

Any loss arising from your use of an Afno Site-powered storefront.
To the extent any liability exists, Afno Site’s total liability to
Customers shall be limited to zero, since Customers do not pay Afno
Site to use storefronts.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Nepal.
Any disputes relating to these terms or the platform shall be
subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
If significant changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top
of this document will be revised.
Continued use of the platform after updated terms are posted
constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Additional Platform Policies and Clarifications
A. Platform Nature
Afno Site is a software platform that enables independent Sellers
to create digital storefronts. Afno Site does not:
- Own Seller inventory.
- Purchase products from Sellers.
- Resell products.
- Employ Sellers.
- Operate as a delivery service.
- Act as a financial institution.
- Guarantee transactions between Customers and Sellers.
All commercial responsibility remains with the Seller operating
the storefront.
B. Reporting Abuse or Illegal Activity
Users may report: Fraudulent activity, illegal products,
intellectual property violations, harassment, scams, or platform
misuse to contact@afnosite.com.
Afno Site may investigate reports and take action including:
content removal, storefront suspension, permanent account
termination, or cooperation with lawful government requests where
legally required.
C. Service Modifications
Afno Site reserves the right to: modify platform features,
introduce new subscription plans, remove features, change
verification requirements, update storefront functionality, or
modify platform policies. We may make these changes at any time
with reasonable notice where practical.
D. Force Majeure
Afno Site shall not be liable for delays, outages, or failures
caused by events beyond reasonable control, including: natural
disasters, internet outages, government actions, power failures,
cyberattacks, third-party service failures, or civil unrest.
E. Entire Agreement
These legal documents constitute the complete agreement between
Afno Site and platform users regarding use of the platform. If any
provision of these documents is found unenforceable, the remaining
provisions shall continue in full effect.
F. Language and Interpretation
These documents are written in plain English for accessibility and
clarity. Headings are provided for convenience only and do not
limit interpretation of any section.
Terms of Service for Sellers
Who this applies to: Any person or business using Afno Site to
create and operate a storefront.
1. Accepting These Terms
By creating a Seller account or using Afno Site, you agree to these
terms in full.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or operate a Seller
account.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
2. What Afno Site Provides
Afno Site provides software tools that allow Sellers to:
- Create storefronts.
- Upload and manage product listings.
- Receive and manage customer orders.
- Share storefront links publicly.
- Upload payment QR codes.
- Receive optional payment screenshots from Customers.
- Apply for Seller verification.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Afno Site does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, availability, or
error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates,
modifications, or temporary service interruptions at any time.
3. Subscription
Afno Site currently charges a subscription fee of NPR 500 per month
per storefront. Subscriptions are billed monthly. Subscription
payments are handled directly between Sellers and Afno Site. Your
subscription includes unlimited products and unlimited orders.
Afno Site does not charge transaction commissions. Subscription fees
are generally non-refundable.
If a subscription lapses: The storefront may become inaccessible.
Seller data may be retained for up to 6 months before deletion.
Afno Site may modify subscription pricing in the future with
reasonable notice.
4. Payments and QR Codes
Sellers may upload their own payment QR codes to storefronts. These
QR codes belong solely to the Seller.
Payments made through Seller QR codes are transferred directly
between Customers and Sellers. Afno Site does not receive payment
funds, hold payment funds, verify payments, process transactions,
act as a payment intermediary, or guarantee payments.
Customers may optionally upload payment screenshots. Payment
screenshots are provided solely for communication between Customers
and Sellers.
Sellers alone are responsible for:
- Confirming payments.
- Detecting fraudulent screenshots.
- Managing payment disputes.
- Fulfilling orders.
- Issuing refunds.
5. Seller Verification
Seller verification is optional but recommended. To become verified,
Sellers may be required to submit government-issued identification,
PAN or VAT information, or business registration documents.
Afno Site may display certain verification-related business
information publicly where required for legal, regulatory, or
business transparency purposes. Verification confirms identity or
business legitimacy only.
Verification does not constitute endorsement, product approval,
reliability guarantees, or transaction guarantees.
Providing false or misleading verification documents may result in
immediate permanent account termination.
6. Casual Sellers
Afno Site may permit informal or individual Sellers to operate
storefronts without formal business verification. These Sellers may
be identified as Casual Sellers on their storefront.
Casual Sellers remain fully responsible for:
- Product legality.
- Order fulfilment.
- Customer communication.
- Compliance with applicable law.
7. Seller Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for everything that occurs within your
storefront.
Products and Listings
You must:
- Only sell products you own or are authorised to sell.
- Ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate.

Ensure uploaded content does not infringe third-party rights.
- Comply with applicable laws.
Orders and Customers
You must:
- Fulfil accepted orders honestly.
- Communicate accurately with Customers.
- Not accept payment without intent to fulfil orders.
Conduct
You must:
- Operate honestly and in good faith.
- Avoid fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
- Not misuse the platform.
8. Restricted and Prohibited Products
Sellers may not list, advertise, distribute, or sell:
- Illegal goods.
- Counterfeit or stolen products.
- Prescription medicines or illegal drugs.
- Weapons or explosives.
- Financial scams or deceptive investment schemes.
- Cryptocurrency fraud schemes.
- Copyright-infringing replicas or pirated goods.
- Illegal sexual services.
- Exploitative or unlawful adult content.
- Any product prohibited under applicable law.
Certain legal adult products may be sold where permitted by law.
Age-restricted content or products may require Customers to confirm
that they are at least 18 years old.
Afno Site reserves the right to remove any listing, storefront, or
content that may violate law, platform policy, or create risk to
users or the platform.
9. Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Fraudulent activity.
- Deceptive payment behaviour.
- Selling counterfeit or illegal products.
- Taking payment without intent to fulfil orders.
- Harassing or threatening Customers.
- Uploading malicious or unlawful content.
- Attempting to manipulate or disrupt the platform.
- Submitting false verification documents.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade suspension.
- Money laundering or illegal financial activity.
Violation of these terms may result in: listing removal, storefront
suspension, permanent account termination, or reporting to relevant
authorities.
10. Moderation and Enforcement
Afno Site reserves the right to remove any storefront, listing, or
content at its sole discretion. This includes situations where we
believe content may violate law, violate platform policy, infringe
intellectual property rights, or create risk to Customers, Sellers,
or the platform.
Sellers may dispute moderation decisions by contacting contact@afnosite.com. However, final moderation decisions remain at Afno Site’s sole
discretion.
Afno Site may investigate reports of fraud, abuse, illegal activity,
or policy violations and may take action including content removal,
account suspension, or permanent termination.
11. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload to your storefront.
By uploading content, you grant Afno Site a non-exclusive,
royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that
content for platform operation purposes. You must not upload content
you do not own or have the right to use.
Afno Site retains ownership of the platform, platform design,
branding, software infrastructure, and underlying technology.
12. Intellectual Property Complaints
Afno Site respects intellectual property rights and expects Sellers
to do the same. Sellers must not upload, list, or distribute any
content, product, image, logo, design, or material that infringes
the intellectual property rights of any third party.
If you believe that content on Afno Site infringes your intellectual
property rights, you may contact contact@afnosite.com with sufficient details of the alleged infringement.
Afno Site reserves the right to remove allegedly infringing content,
suspend related storefronts, or terminate Seller accounts at its
sole discretion.
Repeat or intentional intellectual property violations may result in
permanent account termination.
13. Customer Data and Privacy
Customer information shared with Sellers is provided solely for
order fulfilment purposes. Sellers must not:
- Sell customer data.
- Share customer data with third parties.
- Use customer data for unrelated marketing without consent.
- Retain customer data longer than reasonably necessary.
Misuse of customer data may result in immediate account termination.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afno Site is not liable for:

Loss of revenue, loss of customers, or platform interruptions.
- Seller-Customer disputes or product-related harm.
- Payment disputes or fraud losses.
- Indirect or consequential damages.
Afno Site’s total liability to Sellers shall not exceed the
subscription fees paid by the Seller during the 30 days preceding
the claim.
15. Termination
Sellers may close their account at any time by contacting contact@afnosite.com.
Afno Site may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these
terms, fraudulent conduct, illegal activity, repeated complaints, or
non-payment of subscriptions.
Upon termination, storefronts may be taken offline immediately.
Seller data may be retained for up to 6 months before deletion.
Sellers may request earlier deletion.
If Afno Site discontinues the platform, reasonable notice will be
provided where practical.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Nepal.
Any disputes relating to these terms or the platform shall be
